Oh, yes, yes. I've begun to worry about access to ebooks in 10-15 years. Will they become unavailable? Will cracking the DRM codes become a secret underground skill, and passing around out-of-access ebooks be a street-corner activity? I remember the copying of British tv shows - Blake's 7, for instance, and Professionals, and people in the US watching them in fuzzy versions; not all that long ago there was region-cracking and copying in certain circles. We may be rapidly passing from the wonderful period of being easily able to find pretty much any book we wanted for sale somewhere on the net, if ebooks become enough of the norm that paper copies don't circulate.
