It gave me a message that if I authorised my computer, it wouldn't lock them. Presumably because I could give my password on other computers and it would know it was me. I thought I had said no, I won't continue thanks, but must have clicked on the button that meant go ahead. So it did warn me and I did try to cancel rather than authorise or go ahead without authorisation. Eh. These things happen. It's not like I can't download the Doctorow books and the fan fiction and Steampunk magazine again what with them still freely availably on the internet.
