Well, I do read fast, that much is true. So perhaps the number of page-turns I made in one hour could be equivalent for the same number others make in one and a half, or two hours. I hadn't really thought of that before. :)

If I use it 2-4 hours, like your father, that's roughly what I get out of it too! I was worried, however, as I didn't really know if the battery depleting faster when used 6-8 hours per day was normal or within range for the device. Based on what people are saying, it is. Which is good! I'd hate to lose the Kindle, or to have to go through the trouble of having it replaced. :)
