The kindle standard leather cover is robust, well-made, attractive and easy to use. It makes my Kindle look and feel like a real book - a slim, leather-bound volume of verse or something. I got the leather one because I wanted to protect the screen, and people used to armour themselves in leather.

Other covers may be even better, but I don't feel in any way ripped off with the one I bought.
