I would like to highly rec How to get a girlfriend (When you're a terrifying monster); I haven't read the sequel, but I'm about to buy it based on how much I liked the first one. Does require a small content warning for people who have experienced university based research, as the story occasionally skated far too close to the realities of getting funding for cosy fantasy.
