New study on eReaders versus print

A new study out of Germany looked at print versus Kindle vs. iPad reading and how quickly individuals absorbed information as well as user preferences. ""This study provides us with a scientific basis for dispelling the widespread misconception that reading from a screen has negative effects," explains Füssel." In fact, reading from an iPad appeared to be the most effective.

The study was performed "by the Research Unit Media Convergence of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) in cooperation with MVB Marketing- und Verlagsservice des Buchhandels GmbH."

Cool, thanks for the link. And I think it's sort of cool that a university named after Gutenberg is doing a study about e-reading!
