Fry's sale on Astak EZ Reader

Fry's has a rebate on the Astak EZReader this weekend; it's only available in brick-and-mortar stores.

I can't find a price for it (they don't sell them online), but it's supposed to be in the range of $239.

And you have to do the shopping cart thing to see the price. When I did that it said, $250. It the mail in rebate is off of that, then you're looking at about $220. That's pretty good.

That's pretty tempting. I'm not going to give in though. I've already pre-ordered a netbook tablet, I don't need a new reader too. But it's tempting.

I'm waiting for Astak's new 5" reader to come out. They're still working out licensing and whatnot contracts, but it's all ready to go.

I don't know if I'll be able to buy it immediately; I just got my Sony Reader last fall, and that's a lot of money to throw at two ebook readers inside of a year. But I know I'll get one eventually; I just have to decide when I can afford it.
