Free Ebooks on All Romance

All Romance is offering free ebooks through April 22nd 21st. There is a different one each day. You do have to create an account with them to get the books. I don't know if there are any geographical restrictions but they do seem to have a lot of countries for the country drop-down when you sign up. They don't validate your address or phone number though.

Today's book is Cecilia Tan's 1st book in her Magic University universe. Since I am always mentioning these books, I thought it appropriate that I drop a note here about it.

How do I find tomorrow's free book? I couldn't figure out where they list them...?

From the home page, they have a banner and if you click on the banner, it will take you to the day's freebie.

I figured it out yesterday, after looking at the hoime page a few more times. It looked so much like an as banner that I totally ignored it and it took a while to sink in what that banner said... ;-)

Ooh, and that's enough motive to poke through my settings & find my ARE password somewhere. (I hate their system. The fact that you have to "buy" ebooks, including freebies, multiple times to get multiple filetypes--there's no way to say, "I want to buy both the epub and pdf versions" in a single purchase.)

Have heard nifty nifty things about that series and have been wanting to check them out.

You just reminded me I should "buy" the free ebook *myself* in some other formats from PDF, which my publisher gave me. I've got some other reading device now and want to see how the book looks.

I can send you book 3 in epub if you need it. Unfortunately, I only have book 2 in pdf since I purchased it before buying my ereader and I bought the book right before the problems with the RR website which ended up locking me out of my account there for ever more.

I could probably also nag the publisher for it, but they've got a million other things to worry about. Plus... I'm late delivering them a book, so I feel like a heel asking them for stuff. :-)

RR had so many problems with the web site that they finally chucked it and just launched a whole new one, I haven't figured out if I have to create a new account there or what yet. I just know they re-did it.

I ended up having to create a new account which wouldn't have been that big of a deal except I lost the opportunity to download MU2 in epub. *le sigh*

I don't mind sending it to you. It's just a few clicks on my end.
