Sony opening ebook store to the web

Sony is finally making their ebook store web-compatible, instead of requiring you to install their software and register the computer with their service to buy ebooks from them.

It only took them six years. :/

They're on the right road, finally. Now, if they'll just take the DRM off their ebooks I might buy something from their store.

Wondering if it will be available from other sites, like those book -social Goodreads or http://booklikes.com/

Probably not directly; as far as I know, no ebooks are available from Goodreads or similar sites. However, book-social sites will be able to put links directly to the store so people can buy them, instead of people having to search for the title/author themselves after starting their Sony software.
