Looks like someone in comments has also cited ShuBook as a very similar program. I hate the way all these updates keep occurring for the dozens of software programs we use and there's always something incompatible or less functional whereas the "updates" are often of little additional use.

*nods* I updated Ubuntu and there were a bunch of little things I had to reset and tweak. I don't normally upgrade on release day, but I was hoping that Unity (the desktop that you do everything through) would be faster. It isn't, really.

You do know that you can load ePub documents into iBooks by dropping the file into iTunes and synching.
